As part of our mission to help filmmakers make movies, we provide numerous options for digital lab services encompassing every aspect of image management from camera capture to final delivery. These services are offered as an “all in one” full service package or “a la carte” to meet the specific needs of our clients and their image pipeline. Each solution is designed to provide the highest levels of technical and creative management all maintaining image quality and full protection for your negative.

HD & Digital Cinematography:
DSBX offers camera consultation to DP's, directors and producers, including camera testing, scheduling and procurement. We test and evaluate digital cameras and create custom pipelines and tools geared toward maximum efficiency and highest possible image quality. -
Digital LAB Services:
We offer a range of cost effective services, from dailies and transcoding drop- off and delivery, to final negative processing, conform, and deliverables. -
Color Management and Digital Imaging:
DSBX provides color management and workflow solutions to filmmakers, studios and vendors assuring a consistent and quality-driven approach to digital cinema from principal photography to final master. -
Negative Management, Conform and Output
We provide support for the entire digital negative process in 2D and 3D, including: negative transcoding, tracking, digital dailies, post-production and editorial support. In finishing, our management supports visual effects, digital dailies and shot reviews, specialty screenings and presentation reels through all your post requirements. -
Digital Grading, Mastering and Digital Intermediate
Depending on production's needs, we offer digital mastering solutions, in-house and on location. We act as a one-stop-shop or as a partner with other service vendors. When teaming with outside vendors, we often remain the most effective solution for your visual effects grading, full resolution dailies and review, as well as trailers, preview screenings, conform and grading. -
"3-D" Stereoscopic Support:
DSBX can guide you through what's needed from start to end of the project, and make sense of it all in relation to the bigger picture. Stereo is a digital world, and our pipeline is completely 3D compatible providing full support in our facility and on location. -
VFX and PostFX:
Leveraging our extensive VFX experience, DSBX provides as needed “fix-it” VFX and PostFX support for all DI and finishing projects. For larger scale projects, full service VFX solutions are provided by “VFX@DSBX”.

Our "digital HUB" works as a platform for color management and digital imaging. It is designed to return control and creative ownership of the negative, digital or otherwise, to the filmmaking team. The digital HUB serves as a stand-alone digital mastering system, or as a partner technology with other service vendors.
As part of your team, the digital HUB provides integration services bridging image capture (photography, digitizing or scanning), visual effects, post production, conform and digital intermediate services. The hub is also scalable and powerful enough to provide the above services in-house, depending on filmmaker and studio preference.
Functionally, the HUB is capable of a full gamut of digital intermediate services including digital grading, negative conform and direct output to digital and HD formats. By integrating our finishing services with our advanced production support we streamline day to day efforts, and carry that work over to the conform and DI processes. These consolidated efforts can then efficiently serve your trailer, preview and final delivery needs. We ensure quality and consistency at every stage.
On a day to day basis, the platform provides "apples to apples" comparisons of all work, consistent color communication, evaluation and dailies review. As a dedicated and production controlled repository of your digital negative it can meet varied storage, tracking and review needs.
The digital HUB is a transportable system, capable of co-locating or "embedding" within your production space (much like an editorial department).
